The farm is spread over a huge area of 281 acres and is basically an ancestral home of the Busch family. It is located south of the main city of St. Louis. The Busch family had a soft corner for animals and this farm stands as a testimony of that. Grants farm has nearly 1,000 animals of 100 different species which were gathered from six continents. Over five decades, this farm has been a St. Louis tradition. It is operated by Anheuser-Busch Inc. It has had a whooping number of 24 million visitors since the time of its start. The farm is named after the 18th president of United States, Ulysses S. Grant.
Saint Louis Missouri travel bears the testimony of the popularity of this place among the tourists. In the year 1850s, only portion of the farm was set up and over the years the farm stood complete and well-designed. The farm has been preserved as a specimen to depict the love for animals among the Busch family members. Anheuser- Busch has also been seriously committed to making this farm a special place for animals.
Travel Saint Louis and you will become a fan of this place. It is very popular among people of all ages. The kids and adults enjoy themselves alike. The service of the staff is very prompt and cordial. The best activity that one can do is to view wildlife and enjoy the greenery around them. Elephant shows are the star attractions among the kids. The place has lesser animals than a zoo but it is more enjoyable to see them moving about rather then see them in the zoo.
