There're two buildings operated by Missouri History Museum: Missouri History Museum and Library and Research Center. Missouri History Museum is seated at Lindell and DeBaliviere in Forest Park. While the Library and Research Center is located at 225 South Skinker across from Forest Park.
Missouri History Museum is open all year round. The daily open hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm except Tuesdays. On Tuesdays, the museum is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Library and Research Center is open from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. General admission to Missouri History Museum is free. Yet you might need to buy tickets to some special exhibits held at Missouri History Museum. For group visitors, both self-guided exploration and guided tours are available. Self-guided exploration is free unless visiting special exhibition. Guided tours generally last for 45 to 60 minutes. Conveniently located at the intersection of Lindell and DeBaliviere on the north side of Forest Park., Missouri History Museum can be easily reached either by public transportation or self-driving. Getting there is like a breeze by taking Forest Park Shuttle which operates every 15 minutes. It just costs $2 each adult.

As for parking, there's no on-site parking owned by Missouri History Museum. You can park at the lot adjacent to the museum. Yet the spaces are limited and it fills to capacity quickly on weekends and evenings. Alternative parking is available about one and a half blocks from the History Museum, across from the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center. Street parking is allowed on weekends. What are some featured exhibits and special events? Missouri History Museum boasts an extensive range of both permanent collections and travelling exhibits. A large amount of national artifacts and as well as Missouri or St. Louis related materials are housed in the museum's permanent collections.
