The Shaw Garden commonly known as Missouri Botanical Garden is a botanical research center which comprises a huge collection of shrubs, flowering plants, and trees including the famous Japanese Garden, the Kemper Gardening Center, the Woodsy English Garden, a Rose Garden, etc. There is also Tower Grove Park very close to the Shaw Garden, and is the oldest walking park and is free to public.

The Citygarden in Saint Louis features native plants of Missouri, water fountains, artistic works by artists like Julian Opie, Fernand Leger, Niki de Saint Phalle, Julian Opie, Mark di Suvero, Aristide Maillol, and Tom Otterness. The City Garden Park is divided into three parts, each of them representing a different theme which includes urban gardens, flood plains, and river bluffs. You can even find a restaurant inside the garden- The Terrace View.

The Laumeier Sculpture Park is a park with a museum which contains sculptures by famous artists like Beverly Pepper, Mark di Suvero, Anthony Caro, and Alexander Liberman. There are more than 75 sculptures.
