Weather & Climate

Saint Louis is a beautiful city tucked away in the wonderful state of Missouri in the USA. The city has a fairly large population and is Greater St. Louis's main municipality. The city was founded way back in 1764 by Pierre Laclede and Rene Auguste Chouteau and named it after King Louis IX of France. When France was defeated it became a part of the Spanish Empire and in 1800 it was handed over back to France in a secret deal. The then French ruler Napoleon Bonaparte sold it to the United States 3 years later in 1803.
